CAREER EXPLORATION AND COLLEGE SEARCH

Career Exploration:

We encourage all students to explore career options from the moment they enter high school. Developing educational and career plans can be an exciting process. When students have an idea of where they are headed, they can more meaningfully explore their choices via high school course selection, dual credit options at CNM/UNM, and possible job mentorship experiences.

Below are some websites that are fun to use when exploring career choices. Some of the sites include personal interest inventories that can help identify careers that are a good fit. Have FUN exploring your FUTURE... PLAY with these sites. Check out the fastest growing jobs in our state. Check out the highest paying jobs.

NM Workforce Solutions:

Look at your scores to determine which area you scored highest in (artistic, realistic, investigative, social, enterprising, or conventional), then research jobs in your chosen area.
